Kappiyan is an elderly wizard, over 90 years of age, tall, thin and distinguished looking. He is going bald, wearz wizardly robes, can identify potions by look and smell alone and is skilled at making magical items especially for protection or aid. He is known as the "potion wizard" of Waterdeep and the kindly tutor to a succession of female apprentices. 

Current apprentice: Shalara, 16 years old, dark hair and eyes, earnest and easily upset, she wears pants instead of frocks.

Huge, crowded former warehouse sells about everything except food and drink, from pots to lotions to carts and marbles.

Braum Pelauvirs is tall, beefy and jovial. He is quick to trust people that have laugh freely, share stories and jokes.
He will often break the ice by telling a joke.
